I’m really looking forward to this show. Julia Louis-Dreyfuss is a really good comedic actress. With the exception of maybe Amy Poehler, I honestly can’t think of a female comic that has come along since JLD that has been consistently funnier as a main/major character on a TV show. Now that the female-led sitcom game is run by the likes of Chelsea Handler, Zooey Deschanel, and Whitney Cummings (to be fair, i think Cummings’ stand up is kind of funny), its easy to crap on shows based around female characters. But, I really expect funny things to come from this show and it to be something refreshing from a female comic on tv instead of the poorly executed shock humor that some of these other shows have opted for.

Preach. Funny women + great writing = hilarious.Now I only have to get my hands on HBO.
